Manual Initialization of Drive System

Problem: When there is a Malfunction in the Drive System, all Communication to Drive System is shut down making it difficult to troubleshoot.

Use this procedure to bypass Air Drive System for troubleshooting system.

1. Remove air from system either by evacuating Tank or disconnecting air from Motion base.

2. Disconnect four hoses from Pitch Cylinder at 2 Port Air Valves. (Red, Clear, Black, Blue)

3. Switch on Main Power for Game.

4. Upon command CD, center bodies Roll position. (testing Inclination Sensor)

5. Upon command CC, raise body about 6” and lower it to it’s stop position. (testing Lower Limit Switch)

6. Upon command CB, raise body to it’s upper stop position. (testing Upper Limit Switch)

7. After it sees the Upper Limit Switch, lower body about half way down towards it lower stop position. (testing Pitch Pot)

8. After this it should give a C7 command or ask it to go to center position. At this point, begin lowering body slowly and game should come up to Attract Mode.

If all body position inputs are good, no errors will be seen on screen. If at any time a command is not acknowledged, that input is bad and needs to be corrected. With no errors present, Valves can now be tested in the individual Valve Tests. Just repressurize system and Game Bd will think everything is ok. Using the Manuals Wiring Diagram and these individual Valve Tests you can fully test all drive functions of the Valves now.
